Biography

Aūko Profile

Russian born, American autodidact artist. I was born in St.Petersburg, which is considered to be the cultural capital of Russia. My inspiration emerges from unexpected encounters in the real world which blend with reality, dreams, imagination, mysticism, history, and inherited traditions. When I work, I am in a different state of consciousness that allows me access to this idiosyncratic reality which I am then able to express on my canvas.
